Caroline's warm hospitality. The homemade pizza after my walk was the perfect treat, and the informative tips on the West Highland Way proved invaluable.

The room was quite warm at night, which took me by surprise, but I soon adjusted by following the welcome book's advice to open the window.

This hotel was reasonable base for exploring Drymen, enjoyed it. The property was in a beautiful location short walk to hiking, nature and the West Highland Way. Besides, Finnich Glen was 6 km away from the property.

We asked for the deluxe room with ample space and it was ready when arrived. We walked everywhere, the location was absolutely perfect and nice, rich in nature.

Cozy Beautiful Double Room with ample space, perfect for couples. The homemade pizza available on-site was a nice touch after a long day of hiking.

The nearest spot for food is a 30-minute walk away, which can be a hassle if you're tired. Even though you're immersed in nature, the distance from the village means you'll need to plan accordingly for meals.

Absolutely loved the homemade pizza and really good breakfast made with local products! The hosts were cute and filled the stay with charm. The presence of ducks and chickens created such a good atmosphere.

While it's a wee bit of a trek to the village, the fine scenery and the warmth of the stay completely overshadowed that bit of distance.

Spent two nights in the Beautiful Double or Twin Room. It had a comfy layout, with a lovely large bathroom. The breakfasts were a highlight, with a nice variety. I tried the homemade pizza one evening, and it was delicious. The hosts were cute, providing homemade baking in the room. The location surrounded by greenery was fine, perfect for hiking enthusiasts. There were some downsides. The rooms aren't serviced daily, which might not suit everyone, and the outdoor seating area isn't very sunny, limiting where you can enjoy outdoor snacks. Still, I appreciated the hosts' local tips and the overall warm atmosphere.

Homemade soap was nostalgic, but a amazing breakfast and cozy accommodations made up for it.

It is a charming retreat with an really good breakfast with local produce and thoughtful local activity recommendations.

Had such a lovely stay with yummy homemade brownies waiting for us in the cozy room! Relaxing on the comfy patio while sipping tea and enjoying a beautiful view was just what we needed. The only hiccup was that getting to the nearest food place took a bit of a trek, but it was worth it for a great experience! 🍰

Great quiet spot, loved the hiking and delicious breakfast. Wi-Fi was spotty, though.

A short walk to the nearest pub for evening meals could be inconvenient after a long day.

Altquhur byre bed & breakfast is a hidden gem! The beautiful double room was spacious and clean, with beautiful artwork adorning the walls. The breakfast was excellent, with local produce and those delicious homemade granola biscuits were a good touch.
